After giving you quite a few thoughtful and worth-reflecting posts, I feel its now time for some light headed chit-chat.
You know its funny, all our lives we keep running after happiness, constantly seeking ways to make us smile. Yet, somehow, we always miss the point which is, happiness won’t come from outside. It doesn’t need to be chased. Theres smile and laughter in every single move you make. Its just a matter of perspective.
Like for instance, you’re late for office and are running down in order to not miss your pick up. And suddenly your shoe lace unties and you stumble. To top it, when you tie it up to prevent yourself from falling and start walking ahead, after a few paces, you step into dog-shit. I know, you’d very well want to curse and grind your teeth.
But it would all become a little easier to accept if you view yourself as someone else walking down the road would see you. A person hurrying down the road, obviously late, bending down to tie the shoe lace and then stepping into dog shit!! Think of it this way, okay I’m gonna miss my bus today and I’m gonna take a ride to office. And just as you think of this, you’ll actually find your situation quite amusing.
And then, sitting in the local transport, or any other means of commuting you’d prefer, you can plug into you iPod, sit back and enjoy the un-familiar, once-in-a-while ride to the same old office. See.. that was easy. As I said, its all a matter of perspective.
You know, I always used to get worked up when things didn’t go the way they were supposed to. Like for instance, I don’t have enough money left in my account or maybe if I really wanted to go home and was not getting a reservation. But God has been really gracious to me for having given me the counter-view.
He’s taught me that there are always two sides of every situation. There’s always an explanation. There’s always a new path hiding to the side of the road-block. He’s taught me to accept the fact instead of cribbing about what could have happened. And as soon as I accept it, magically, a counter-solution appears. And I feel, hey, I can do that too!! Howcum, I didn’t see it before.
And in situations like these, the presence of the higher power, the supreme God becomes all the more clear. We just fail to understand that everything would become so easy if we just left it to God and accepted the truth. I know its easier said than done, but sometimes, its just the most appropriate thing to do.
Don’t know what to say..
you are right my dear.He is always there to help you out.The point is how we look the things.
God always loves all his children. No matter how adverse a situation seems, the truth is that He is always by our side and guiding us out of all our problems.
