Oscar-winning music director A R Rehman, Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin and space scientist and Chandrayaan-I project director Mayilswamy Annadurai were today conferred honorary doctorates by Anna University in Chennai.
The three were awarded the doctorates at the institution’s Anna Centenary Special Convocation here. Rehman, who won two Oscars for his score in ‘Slumdog Millionaire,’ was awarded the Doctorate for his “globally and locally reverberating music”.
